Spiritual Growth
Each of us
has to grow spiritually,
becoming more Christlike, in order to become more effective witnesses
for the kingdom. We have to learn to exercise greater faith, knowing
that “with God nothing shall be impossible.” We have to learn more
about Christ, in order to pray and act within His will—effective prayer
vice praying amiss is a result of knowing Christ. We have to seriously
study the Word of God.
…And it came to pass, that a whole
year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people.
And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts 11:26

Numerical Growth
As we become more effective witnesses
(through Spiritual Growth) Numerical Growth will occur. We can look
forward to people wanting to become a member of the family of God in
Christ, as well as becoming a member of this local congregation,
because they see something in us that is worth having—Christ and the
abundant life He offers.
And when the
Gentiles heard this, they
were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were
ordained to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48

Financial Growth
With Spiritual Growth a person also
experiences growth as a good steward of what God has entrusted to them.
They become a better manager of their income and expenses. Also, with
growth in membership the ministry experiences growth in its financial
support, which enables it to put its programs in action. By maintaining
an honest and godly system of giving, we all experience financial
growth.
I know also, my God, that thou triest
the heart, and has pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the
uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and
now I have seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer
willingly unto thee. 1 Chronicles 29:17
